Determination of Physical Properties of Cotton Plant in the Development of Cotton Uprooter cum Shredder

The effect of scarification and stratification treatments on germination seedling vigour fresh teak drupes was investigated. were subjected to the following viz., control, acid (500 mL/kg drupe) for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 60 min. Cold 40 days at 5o C. Warm 40o treated control sown in sand filled earthen pots placed direct sunlight assessing germination. experiment conducted a Completely Randomized Block Design with ten replications. Germination percentage, number seedlings/100 drupes, time taken initial emergence, root length, shoot dry matter production index recorded 28 after sowing. Acid minutes, cold 50°C days, warm 40°C resulted 23.7, 29.8, 22.7 percent germination, respectively. From this study it could be concluded that 0C gave maximum (29.8 per cent) (468).
